55 is a hip, casual, new Texas Rock Restaurant and Bar located at 5510 Morningside in the Rice Village. Features lots of Big Screen TV's for sporting events and offers a great outdoor patio in the heart of Rice Village. It also has a full bar and a friendly staff. The Menu has something for everyone, including several TEXAS favorites for those with a sense of adventure.

The decor of the restaurant is definitely eclectic, with touches of baroque, modern and retro in the light fixtures alone. Nonetheless, the feel is very comfortable. All in all, a great place, with beautiful decor, a full bar that can produce any drink imaginable, and super yummy food that fill a need in restaurant choices in the village.
