Armadillo has the uncanny ability to be a day bar and a Texan night hang-out with a great casual atmosphere. If you want to dress up and show up, you can do it. If you want to walk in on a Saturday night in shorts and flip flops, you can do it. And hang out and listen to live bands AND play pool at the same time. The decor is traditional Western. As you walk in, the bar is directly to your right and the pool tables are to the left. Though admittedly it's the perfect placement for the bar, it can get a little congested during busy hours.

Goode's Armadillo Palace hosts live Texas music several days a week. It serves a full menu of Texas comfort food and is available for parties of just about every size. All in all, this is a fun little place and a great spot to take friends who are visiting from out of town.
